At our kickoff meeting with Cory Schruth, the owner, and Marden Nochez, the COO of NocTel Fiber, we laid the groundwork for our project. The focus was clear: create three key videos. First, we aimed to capture the essence of NocTel's founding, highlighting the vision behind their mission. Next, we planned to bring forward the voices and stories of the customers themselves, showcasing the impact of reliable internet in their lives. Finally, a tour of the NocTel warehouse was on the agenda, offering a look at the nuts and bolts of their operation. This meeting wasn't just about planning; it was about setting a course to bring NocTel's story to the forefront.
Into the field
Heading into the field with Joel, Chris, and Isaac offered a firsthand look at the challenges and triumphs of NocTel Fiber's installation process. Documenting their day, I captured the meticulous task of trenching, boring, and laying conduit lines across diverse terrains, from stubborn rocks to meandering rivers, even contending with the unexpected - pesky squirrels. Witnessing the team navigate through a spectrum of obstacles with skill and determination was enlightening. The experience wasn't just educational; it was a blast seeing the team in action, tirelessly working to connect customers to the digital world.
